My ambition is rooted in the heartbeat of sports broadcasting: live match directing. My absolute focus is on capturing the action, anticipating the run of play, and translating the raw emotion on the pitch directly to the viewer. Having gained extensive experience in the fast-paced live environments of the Jupiler Pro League, the Premier League, and the UEFA Champions League, I thrive on the speed and split-second decisions needed to flawlessly broadcast top-tier football. My goal is to continue evolving as a live sports director on the highest international stage.

Content & Format Design

Beyond calling the shots live, I step in as a visual architect for various sports formats. For projects like San Titar and the UFC studio programming, I take full ownership of the complete look and feel—from the initial concept and editorial strategy to the edit and title sequence design. Leveraging my expertise in After Effects and stop-motion animation, I craft a distinct, tailored visual identity for each production. I oversee the entire journey from a blank page to the final delivery, mapping out the narrative and transforming it into a striking visual experience.

A Hybrid Mindset

I fuse the rigorous discipline of a live sports director with a broad, creative vision. Drawing from my background across documentary (Kustboys), satire (De Ideale Wereld), and multi-platform talk shows (MidMid Mondial), I am wired to find creative solutions within any technical setup. I actively shape the editorial structure of segments and the overall visual flow of a broadcast. My approach guarantees rock-solid technical productions, driven by a relentless ambition to showcase sports in all its facets as sharply and engagingly as possible.

Fueled by Tech & Curiosity

While my broad range of interests allows me to dive into any project effortlessly, my true fascination lies in technology and complex systems. To understand the workflow inside the OB van down to the smallest detail, I even trained as an EVS operator. This drive to grasp how systems operate on a technical level makes me a sharper director. I speak the language of the engineering team and know exactly how to maximize our available tools to put the viewer right in the middle of the action.
